Brimalms gear boxes

The gear box housings are made of black delrin. Worms are milled in hardened steel and gears in bronze. The gear boxes are to be fitted with appropriate gear wheels on the outgoing shafts. One must also decide on the appropriate gear for the locomotive drive axle in order to achieve the correct total gear ratio. A gear box with snap connection follows the vertical movement of a sprung locomotive drive axle.
