Roller stand

Roller stand for stationary operation of model locomotives. The stand consists of two brass bars standing on a delrin base plate. By arranging the bars in different positions in the channels milled in the delrin plate, the stand may be adapted for locomotives of 9 mm, 10,5 mm or 16,5 mm gauge. The roller wheel supports ride on the bars. There are 20 such movable supports, each with two roller bearings, which make it possible to run vehicles with up to 10 axles on the stand! On the sides of the bars there are several round holes which are suitable for electric connections with standard 4 mm plugs. The length of the bars is 280 mm. The longest possible wheelbase which can be accomodated is 265 mm.
