Brimalm designs and produces different types of models: (From 2008 ninety percent of all parts for the models are produced in Sweden.) Brimalm Exclusive Precision models in small series. These models are hand built in quantities of up to 300 examples. The materials used are brass and stainless steel. Bodies are made of thin brass plate and small details are brass lost wax castings. Brimalm ASJ Precision models in larger series. By large series we understand as a rule 1.000 examples or more. The models combine the best from different production methods. Bodies and frames are die cast in zinc or plastic and small details are very fine lost wax castings in brass. These models are heavy and sturdy. They are produced for 3-rail AC operation with original Marklin wheel profile and for 2-rail DC with NEM or RP25 wheel profile. Brimalm Exposition Exposition models in series of various sizes. We serve larger and smaller companies during different steps, from single exposition objects and prototypes to series production “give aways” etc. The materials comprise different plastics as well as metals. Brimalm Components Fine mechanical transmissions etc. Brimalm models are equipped with transmissions of our own design and production. Some parts from this assortment are offered to our customers as separate components for scratch building. Here we may mention motors, flywheels, cardan shafts, gear wheels, complete gear boxes, ball bearings, centrifugal clutches etc. |
